BioFit Introduces New Regional and Territory Sales Managers
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (PRWEB) August 27, 2015 -- BioFit Engineered Products, a globally recognized manufacturer of award-winning ergonomic seating solutions, announced the hiring of a regional sales manager and two territory sales managers this month. The new additions will lead the company’s growth initiatives in the Eastern U.S. and Canada, Minnesota and the Dakotas, and Upstate New York, respectively.
Zak Young was named Eastern Region Sales Manager of BioFit. A native and resident of the Detroit area, Mr. Young brings over 13 years’ of sales and leadership experience to the organization, working in dealer sales with industry leaders Steelcase, Haworth and Knoll. He most recently served as National Director of Strategic Accounts for ErgoGenesis. When asked about his new role and the challenges to being successful in today’s market, he shared: “Anticipating how people will collaborate and work 5 to 10 years in the future and being prepared to meet their needs is the key.”
Lisa McGinnis joined BioFit as the Territory Sales Manager for Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. She is a native of the St. Paul area and worked on the dealer side of the industry for nearly 20 years with Target Commercial Interiors and Steelcase. Ms. McGinnis has a solid background in contract and education furnishings, and welcomes the opportunity to leverage this experience educating architects and designers on BioFit’s new MVMT seating line. Regarding the school market, she commented: “Education changes rapidly … I understand how teaching methods, pace of change and disruptions to the traditional model affect sales.”
Michael Walton was appointed as the BioFit Territory Sales Manager for Upstate New York, heading sales statewide with the exception of New York City metro area and Long Island. The Rochester, New York, native has over 12 years of sales, marketing and customer service experience. Most recently, he was the workplace consultant for Merkel Donohue, a Steelcase dealer in Rochester. On his selection by BioFit, he stated: “I’m excited about the innovation behind this company and the opportunity to help bring the new MVMT line to market.”
