PITTSBURG, Calif., Sept. 18, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Bishop-Wisecarver, a trusted industrial automation company offering proven motion solutions that are expertly designed and delivered to perform, today announced it has donated $3,600 to the East Bay National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) to help fund STEM and robotics programs for pre-college age students in the area.
Bishop-Wisecarver employees selected the East Bay NSBE non-profit group as the beneficiary of a friendly bowling tournament designed to generate as many funds as possible for local students. The donation will be used to help support the group's Saturday STEM & Robotics Program that has teams participating in the FIRST Lego League Jr. and FIRST Lego League competitions.
