This year's virtual event includes a newly created video geared towards students that focuses on the top reasons to consider a career in manufacturing, and the second annual Wisecarver Innovation Award student design contest encouraging students to use hands-on experience to learn more about the manufacturing industry.

Wisecarver Innovation Award Student Design Contest
The 2nd Annual https://www..bwc.com/rs/872-EFC-487/images/2021-MFG-Day-Design-Contest.pdf [Wisecarver Innovation Award Student Design Contest __title__ ] focuses on the growth of automation in helping drive greater productivity and more opportunities for the future workforce. Students are tasked with designing and creating an automated process for preparing pizza with sauce and toppings.
Participants will provide a 60-second video that includes an overview of their idea and what it does, along with any drawings, prototypes or concept designs that help provide additional explanation. The contest kicked off on October 1 and all submissions must be received by November 1, 2021. The winner receives $250 for themselves and $1000 for their school.
