McKeesport, PA (PRWEB) June 12, 2015 -- The Most Reverend Bishop David A. Zubik, will be at St. Paul’s Seminary in Crafton, PA on June 22nd to speak about the role of faith in guiding both one’s personal life and professional life. The event is part of a larger series of speeches hosted by Auberle’s Catholic Ambassadors, a group of men and women who are raising awareness for Auberle throughout the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh. Auberle is a faith-based social services agency based in McKeesport.
Doors open at 7:45am, with activities and speakers beginning at 8:00am. Bishop Zubik will be available to take questions from the audience. Activities will conclude by 9:00am.
Zubik’s speech will be the second Speaker Series to be hosted by Auberle’s Catholic Ambassadors. At the first event last month, former Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett was the guest of honor, in his first public speech since leaving office. He spoke about the role his faith played in his day- to-day decision making both in office and at home.
Since 1952, Auberle has been dedicated to helping troubled children and families heal themselves. Auberle serves over 3,250 at-risk children and families each year in 16 program areas centered in trauma-informed care. Auberle is a Sanctuary Model of Trauma Informed Care certified agency, serving 60% of clients in their home, school or in their community. They have been recognized by nonprofit peers across the nation as well as by the local business community. The Alliance for Strong Families and Communities, the largest network of human services organizations in the country, named Auberle 2012 Agency of the Year. In 2014 alone, Auberle received six awards from the business community for excellence.
