Fold brought the world's first bitcoin rewards Visa Debit Card to market in 2020 and now expands its engagement with Visa to serve the global bitcoin community
SAN FRANCISCO, March 30, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Today, Bitcoin rewards company Fold announced its global engagement with Visa, which will serve as the exclusive global network partner for Fold's prepaid debit and credit products in North America, Europe and LAC. This builds on the momentum of the launch of the first Visa co-branded bitcoin rewards debit card in the spring of 2020 with the goal of expanding the reach to more Fold users around the world. Nearly $1 billion has flowed through Fold since the launch of the Fold Visa Debit Card with users rewarded over $30 million in bitcoin since launch of the app.

The expanded engagement with Visa will enable Fold to bring bitcoin rewards and financial products to new regions around the world. Fold will expand the existing Fold Bitcoin Rewards Debit Card globally, in addition to empowering existing local financial service companies to launch their own bitcoin rewards and financial products via Fold's embedded bitcoin rewards and payments infrastructure.
