Bleuet Debuts its Line of Organic & Sustainable Bras Made for Tween and Teen Girls
Launches Some of the First Sustainable, Sensory-Friendly Bras Available for Girls
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 27, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Bleuet, creator of apparel designed to give girls the freedom and confidence to do what they love, is proud to introduce its collection of bras made in organic and sustainable fabrics. With the launch of the Aster Organic Tank Bra and the Iris Bra, Bleuet will have some of the first sensory-friendly, sustainable bras for tween and teen girls in the market. Known for its incredibly soft and comfortable bras, Bleuet continues to expand its product offerings in a variety of styles and fabrics beyond its best-selling Bleum Bra.
"Social and environmental sustainability are of utmost importance to us as a company and to many of our customers, so we're delighted to now offer sustainable and organic products for girls. These bras are just as soft as our core Bleum Bras but made of fibers that are biodegradable and revert fully back to nature," said Elizabeth Rietz, CEO & Co-Founder of Bleuet. "As we look to the future, we believe girls need more eco-friendly undergarment options."
The Aster Organic Tank Bra Offers Extra Support
The Aster Organic Tank Bra is Bleuet's first organic bra for tween and teen girls. This bra is reversible made in two colors with buttery soft organic cotton spandex jersey containing TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers. Constructed with a wider band, the Aster Organic Tank Bra gives added support. Available in white, plum / mink and sand / rose in sizes ⅞ - 16.
Ideal for sensitive skin, the Aster Organic Tank Bra has received positive reviews from early customers. One mom whose daughter has extremely sensitive skin and severe eczema found the Aster Organic Tank Bra to be the first bra that doesn't exacerbate her daughter's eczema and "soft and gentle against the skin."
TENCEL Lyocell fibers are derived from sustainable wood sources, harvested from certified and controlled sources following the stringent guidelines of the Lenzing Wood and Pulp Policy. TENCEL Lyocell fibers have gained the reputation for their environmentally responsible, closed loop production process, which transforms wood pulp into cellulosic fibers with high resource efficiency and low ecological impact. This solvent-spinning process recycles process water and reuses the solvent at a recovery rate of more than 99%. These fibers are also certified biodegradable.
The Iris Bra for More Developed Girls
Designed for more developed girls, the Iris Bra provides extra support and coverage with optional light padding. Made of ultra-soft, sustainable TENCEL Modal fibers & Spandex Jersey, it is a soft cup, pullover bra with adjustable, no-slip straps for the perfect fit. Available in white, ginger and plum in sizes 10 - 18.
TENCEL Modal fibers are mainly manufactured from beech wood, sourced from sustainable forests in Austria and neighboring countries. Beech wood forests are a natural and renewable source of raw material. A big share of the wood used at the Lenzing site comes from Austria, harvested from certified and controlled sources following the stringent guidelines of the Lenzing Wood and Pulp Policy. TENCEL Modal fibers are also fully biodegradable and compostable.
Early customer feedback is extremely positive with comments including "it's so soft that I don't feel like I have anything on" and "love the light padding and construction of this bra."
