ATLANTA, Sept. 12, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Monday Sept. 9, 2019, Fulton County Superior Court: Honorable Judge Kelly Lee Ellerbe, awarded an injunction against VC Mining Enterprises on behalf of Blockchain United Mining Services a Wyoming company and its customers. (Civil Action File No. Plaintiff, 2019CV326248)
VC Mining Enterprises, Inc. an Atlanta company, allegedly has been "unlawfully converting" bitcoin belonging to customers of Blockchain United Mining Services, and has allegedly unlawfully seized bitcoin mining equipment belonging to these customers.
Court records state that VC Mining is holding in excess of 2800 high performance servers (with an estimated value of $1.4 million). This facility's owners and employees were justifying the seizure of this property, WHILE still operating the equipment.
As read in the Court records, the "FINDINGS OF FACT AND CONCLUSIONS OF LAW" are
The Court finds: (1) there is a substantial threat that Plaintiff will suffer irreparable injury if the injunction is not granted; (2) the threatened injury to Plaintiff outweighs the threatened harm that the injunction may do to Defendants; (3) there is a substantial likelihood that Plaintiff will prevail on the merits of its Claims at trial; and (4) granting the interlocutory injunction will not disserve the public interest.
Defendants are hereby ENJOINED AND RESTRAINED from accessing and using any of Plaintiff's equipment, specifically the approximately 2,800 blockchain machines, located at 2380 Godby Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30349.
VC Mining is owned by Michael Oken with additional owners and employees Greg Ohanessian, Jeffrey Jones, Justin Gerry, and Lisa DeKalb, whom were also named in the complaint. VC Mining registered agent is an Atlanta attorney, Justin Daniels with the law firm Baker Donelson.
