We’ve been subtly shifting focus to ensure that while we are still providing the most useful and powerful tools available, we’re easing the process and making podcasting as painless as possible, no matter the podcaster’s experience and knowledge beforehand,” said Todd Cochrane, CEO of Blubrry

Blubrry Podcasting released an updated Blubrry.com homepage and podcast directory; the first step in an entire website/dashboard overhaul to be rolled out throughout this year and in 2020. Along with the revised homepage, Blubrry will be consolidating its news and company podcast content for a complete podcast-knowledge base.

The Blubrry podcast directory, which includes more than 775,000 podcasts, now features an updated list of categories and a ‘featured shows’ section. Shows discovered in the directory can be played, downloaded and -- if the podcast host has claimed the show -- includes listener/subscriber options.

“We’ve been subtly shifting focus to ensure that while we are still providing the most useful and powerful tools available, we’re easing the process and making podcasting as painless as possible, no matter the podcaster’s experience and knowledge beforehand,” said Todd Cochrane, CEO of Blubrry.

Updates to the user experience, i.e. the Podcaster Dashboard, for podcasters using Blubrry services will include improvements to the layout and getting started experience. PowerPress -- Blubrry’s free WordPress plugin released in 2008 and the No. 1 free podcasting plugin -- will simplify the process of starting and branding a podcaster’s content.

Podcasters interested in claiming their podcast directory listing can do so by searching for their show. They can then utilize Blubrry's free basic podcast statistics. To view the new homepage and explore the directory, visit Blubrry.com.
