Blue Ocean & Coppermine Fieldhouse Partner To Bring Health & Fitness To The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Center in Pikesville, MD

PIKESVILLE, Md., Nov. 5, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Shortly after acquiring the DoubleTree hotel, Blue Ocean entered into a strategic partnership with Coppermine Fieldhouse to assume control and operate the hotel's tennis and fitness facility. Located at 1726 Reisterstown Road, the 50,000 square foot venue features 6 indoor tennis courts, locker rooms, a group fitness studio, and an outdoor pool and health club. This area was the former Baltimore Fitness & Tennis Club that was adjacent to the hotel.

This latest acquisition by Blue Ocean will enable the 8th location in Pikesville for Coppermine. With this new location, Coppermine members will now be able to select from a total of 12 indoor tennis courts and 2 health and fitness locations – all conveniently located within the Pikesville area.

A substantial redevelopment program spearheaded by Blue Ocean will bring about an approximate $800,000 of interior renovations for the fitness facility. Coppermine will professionally operate the newly renovated facility under its Coppermine Racquet & Fitness brand.
