NEW YORK (PRWEB) August 13, 2020
Inc. Magazine, best known for its yearly annual rankings of the fastest-growing, privately-held companies, has recognized Blue Label Labs for the 4th year running on their list, Inc 5000 Fastest Growing Companies. As part of this yearly endeavor, Inc parses applicants who submit required business information for consideration – from this data, they compile a list then publish the results both on the web and in their printed magazine.
“If you stay fixated on the news, you’ll wind up worrying yourself into a funk which is detrimental to playing a leadership role in any scenario,” says CEO, Bobby Gill. “I chose to use this time to stay focused on the business and my wonderful family. While staying positive comes with a unique set of challenges, I feel this mindset has afforded our business to keep pace with other businesses that have certainly felt the impact of COVID-19. Today, I see the fruits of this labor and I am honored.”
Despite worldwide setbacks from the COVID-19 pandemic, Blue Label Labs has managed to achieve substantial success with recent efforts. This year the company was part of the Webby Awards, thanks to an app developed for inHouse, which was recognized as an honorable mention in the Food & Drink category and as an honoree in the Machine Learning & Chatbot category. They also enjoyed a highly-successful launch for their music discovery platform, bopdrop, which topped charts in the Apple App Store after landing 2,000 downloads in the first day.
“We’re fortunate that our tried-and-true methods have continued to serve us in these uncertain times. Being part of the Inc 5000 [Fastest Growing Companies] list reinforces that our practices have and will continue to elevate our clients to success,” says Gill.
Blue Label Labs encourages anyone from the sole entrepreneur to the Fortune 500 to reach out to the team and learn more about their app development process.
The 2020 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2016 and 2019. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2016. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2019. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2016 is $100,000; the minimum for 2019 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Companies on the Inc. 500 are featured in Inc.’s September issue. They represent the top tier of the Inc. 5000, which can be found at http://www.inc.com/inc5000.
