BluFocus Acquires The Master QC Group Further Expanding its Investment in Quality Control for the Entertainment and Media Industry
The acquisition extends BluFocus' master quality control infrastructure to support the spectrum of high-end distribution formats within the home entertainment industry
BURBANK, Calif., Sept. 24, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- BluFocus, a division of Blu., has announced that it has acquired The Master QC Group LLC., a provider of file-based master quality control for Hollywood studios and production houses. The acquisition extends BluFocus' significant investment in upgrades to its master QC infrastructure.
The Master QC Group, LLC was built and supported by master quality control (QC) experts with over 14 years of experience. The Master QC Group team has become a key resource for qualifying audio and master QC content for entertainment and media production houses and studios.
The acquisition of The Master QC Group, LLC gives BluFocus additional impetus in providing on-site and off-site master QC services. It also provides support for its newly released MQC™ application which was recently made available for licensing.
