CHICAGO, Nov. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Jacobsons were honored by the Board of Jewish Education of Metropolitan Chicago (BJE) at their annual celebration on Sunday, November 11. Randi and Rob Feder and The Education Committee of the Jewish United Fund were also honored.
The event, "Accelerating Into the Future" was held at Klairmont Kollections, 3117 N. Knox Avenue, Chicago, IL, a sui generis car-enthusiast showplace that features nearly 400 classic and antique cars under one roof, from 1909 to the present.
According to the BJE Website, "The mission of the Board of Jewish Education is to nurture the continuity and quality of Jewish life through Jewish education, and to be a leader in implementing the vision of Jewish education." Contributions to the BJE Annual Celebration support their ongoing programs, such as Marshall Center for Education Innovation, Chicago Melton School, Center for Adult Jewish Education, and others.
"Iris and I share the same passion as BJE," said David. "BJE has touched countless lives through their dedication to Jewish education and culture. There was a reception, awards, entertainment and hundreds of classic cars on display. This expo was a real treat for the car-lovers," David added.
