Mary Morgan’s book, Musings of A Nursing Home Resident ($14.99, paperback, 9781619044258; $22.99, hardcover, 9781619044265; $7.49, e-book, 9781619045408), is available for purchase.

Author Mary Morgan moved into a nursing home after her sister, Martha, had died. The other residents enjoy reading Mary’s poems, so she decided to write more and make them into a book, which readers can enjoy when they pick up Musings of A Nursing Home Resident.

“I believe there is a ‘book’ in each of us. We all have life stories to tell, but residents of nursing homes seem to be forgotten numbers in our society,” said Morgan.

This book of poems is set in the nursing home where Mary Morgan lives. The poems are each based on true life experiences or fantasies of hers. She has had sixty-five years of life experiences to share. Some are humorous, some are sad, but she hopes to stir some kind of emotion in those whose lives she touches.
