Book Tells an Inspirational Story of the Parable of the Sower, About a Seed’s Journey to Trust God
HORNELLSVILLE, N.Y. (PRWEB) March 29, 2019 -- Dee Schwartz taught high school English in New York for 33 years. Through her classroom, she sought to encourage and inspire the love of learning and reading. She also spent 33 years challenging her students to dream and set goals. She advised her students to explore the possibilities that knowledge and imagination know no limits. The time came when Schwartz had to put her teaching into practice. She believes that for everything there is a season, and her debut book, “Sprout for the Lord: The Adventures of Weber” (published by Balboa Press) fulfills her dream of becoming a published author. The book tells the story of Weber, a spider who helps a fallen seed find good ground to grow. Soon, the seed grows, and Weber names the seed Sprout. In the beginning, Sprout is happy with his spot in life, but he becomes jealous of other seeds that appear to be having more fun. Readers are invited to see what happens when a storm hits and Sprout learns the importance of strong roots as well as what Weber discovers at Christmas.
“This book has a great message about how God has a plan for your life. I feel it is hammered through to the reader, first with some characters telling Sprout this, and later on, after it becomes clear what that plan was (to be the hay cushioning baby Jesus), leaving the reader with that as a final thought,” editor John Fox explains. Schwartz says. “I want readers to be excited about their life and realize God has a plan designed just for them.”
An excerpt from the book:
Soon Sprout grew tall enough to see the seeds by Foxy, who had also grown. Sprout asked, “Why am I not growing as fast as the other seeds? What is wrong with me?”
Weber told Sprout, “You must be patient, God has a plan for your life."
