“It Was a Privilege to Care for Her” chronicles the life of Muriel Klafehn from the diagnosis of cancer in her right breast until her death. A prayer for peace at the outset, granted by the Lord, sustained her on a daily basis throughout her “adventure.” The author shares how they lived every day as normal as it could be and in doing so, she became an inspiration to him and all those who offered her comfort.

A story of faith, courage and love, the book reminds readers that “Even though a cancer patient may die, how one handles the journey is a uniquely traveled path.”

“Cancer is all around us. Let’s read about courage and faith through difficult times,” the author says. “The main thing is the faith in God that helped to sustain Muriel on a day to day basis.”
