Late 2019 marked 25 years in business for the Spa, and owner Gen Obolensky decided it was time to roll out the red carpet for clients and neighbors as a symbol of gratitude for the quarter-century milestone. "The goal was to bring our community together," says Obolensky. "Our clients come from all over and it's been 25 incredible years of growth and support, and it felt like the right time to simply say thank you."
The event featured local businesses including Sibling Company, Femme Akoi Beauty Studio, Zoe Water USA, Shoptoska, Escape Root Juicery, Trim Studio and Wakamole Mexican Food Truck as well as fresh flower crowns, a Volkswagen photo bus, raffle prizes, a table of free cupcakes and an hour-long yoga practice led by renowned teacher trainer Ally Ford (@AllyFordYoga).
"I wanted the morning to feature some of my favorite things—like flower crowns, tacos and yoga—all in one place," adds Obolensky. "We're all still overwhelmed at the response to the event and glad it made such an impact."
The Spa will continue festivities with their anniversary-themed specials available through Feb. 10, offering 25% off to clients trying a service that they've never tried before, as well as $25 off the enrollment fee of their monthly membership program.
