Brad Snowden Named Philanthropy Director for The Village at Orchard Ridge
WINCHESTER, Va. (PRWEB) January 09, 2019 -- The Village at Orchard Ridge–A National Lutheran Community, is pleased to announce Brad Snowden as Philanthropy Director. Snowden brings nearly 20 years of experience in estate planning as a practicing attorney and for the last 16 years has advanced the philanthropic mission of two higher education institutions. Most recently, Snowden was Director of Leadership Gifts at Mary Baldwin University in Staunton, Virginia leading the major giving effort for its $25M Invest for Impact capital campaign that raised $4.8M annual gifts and closed $26M in legacy gifts during its last fiscal year. In his role at The Village at Orchard Ridge, Snowden will lead all philanthropic efforts to raise financial support for various funds including the benevolent care endowment fund, the employee tuition reimbursement fund and any special campaigns. Since 1890, NLCS has never had to ask a resident to leave because they can no longer afford their care, with Snowden’s experience and desire to assist older adults, this will be continued at The Village at Orchard Ridge.
“We are very pleased to have someone with Snowden’s professional experience, education, and proven track record of accomplishment, as our new Philanthropy Director,” said NLCS Philanthropy Director, Dee Dee Barbour. “Snowden’s appointed position on The Village at Orchard Ridge’s leadership team reflects the importance placed on philanthropy throughout our organization.”
