Bradenton Attorney Bernard Walsh Brings Law Students & Florida Justice Association Together At Tampa
Tampa, Florida (PRWEB) February 18, 2015 -- The Florida Justice Association Outreach Reception at Cooley Law School in Tampa featured guest speakers that included seasoned civil trial attorneys from the Florida Justice Association, the Manasota Trial Lawyers Board, as well as members of the professional development team from Cooley Law School.
Bernard F. Walsh Esq., opened the event as the keynote speaker and was followed by an open forum style discussion between students and a panel of notable attorneys which included, Kevin Gallagher Esq., David Hall Esq., Chris Lancaster Esq., and Tim Rudge Esq.
Each attorney shared their experiences on starting and running a legal practice in their respective fields as well as engaged in one-on-one questions and answers with students. Students also discussed with speakers how to select the areas of practice best suited to them for their new legal careers.
Attorney Bernard F. Walsh, top sponsor of the event, and Florida Justice Association board member gave a talk entitled ‘Working an Accident Case – Thinking Outside the Box.’ The lecture drew from Mr. Walsh's many years of experience in representing injured clients for many types of serious accidents, including injuries and deaths from crashes with commercial trucks. Students were presented with ways of representing cases in trial and mediation that can deliver maximum impact to the jury or mediators for a client’s behalf.
Guest Panel members from Cooley Law School included Dean Charles R. Toy, Dean Jeffrey L. Martlew, Dean Ronald Sutton, Dr. Christopher Lewis, and Bradley Merritt, Esq. In addition to the all-star guest list of attorneys and VIP staff, Cooley Law School Tampa Bay Campus Ambassador Christina Walsh was also in attendance and was instrumental in helping to bring a large amount of student participation to the event.
