New York brain injury attorney Shana De Caro, a member of the brain injury law firm, De Caro & Kaplen, LLP, was elected Chair-elect of the Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group at the American Association for Justice annual conference held in San Francisco, California this month. She cited new data released this July in the report which identified approximately 3.5 million medical encounters and deaths in which TBI was one of the diagnoses in the health care provider’s medical records or in reports of vital statistics.
