To earn the certification, Branching Minds submitted evidence confirming the link between the learning science behind how students learn and the platform's design.

As part of the Branching Minds platform, a student observation-based survey is provided to help teachers understand why a student is struggling in a particular academic or behavioral health and social-emotional domain. The questions are based on research and are reviewed by a team of cognitive psychologists, veteran educators, and expert consultants, ensuring the platform is teacher-friendly and consistent with the scientific research and psychometric standards.
Branching Minds also provides the most robust library of evidence-based learning supports and interventions across academics, behavior, and SEL, curating the most appropriate learning supports for each learner, alongside implementation guidance for teachers so they can deliver those supports with fidelity.
