BrandBucket Inc Acquires Brandroot LLC
Acquisition expands presence in branded business name marketplace segment of domain name industry.
LOS ANGELES, June 27, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- BrandBucket Inc., a business name marketplace featuring premium domain names, has acquired Brandroot LLC, a business name marketplace in the same sector, for an undisclosed amount. The official acquisition date is June 20, 2019.
BrandBucket is a reputed leader in self-service branding for startups. Launched in 2007 by entrepreneurs that were frustrated by the experience of finding a quality domain name for their projects, BrandBucket provides a shopping experience of available business names and business logos. As a marketplace, BrandBucket connects the owners of premium and unused domain names with buyers by providing inventory curation, pricing guidelines, and a fluid browsing and checkout experience.
Founded in 2012, Brandroot is a similar marketplace catering to the same target customer. This acquisition brings together a combined inventory of over 70,000 quality domain names and a community of over 1000 domain name sellers.
