Breast Cancer Survivor Shares Miraculous Journey in The Surthrival Tree
Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) October 31, 2015 -- The "Surthrival Tree" is a powerful story about a women's miraculous and successful journey through a mix of modern and alternative breast cancer treatments. Written by Kim Power Stilson, mother of 3, wife of a Deputy Sheriff, University of Utah adjunct professor, SiriusXM BYU Radio talk radio show host and Surthrival Series author, she says her world physically reeled when she was told she had two types of breast cancer. She felt numb with fear and had trouble making a decision about how to proceed until she remembered the people she had interviewed while hosting a national talk radio show over the last 10 years.
She asked for help and received responses from practitioners like; Nurse Practitioner Barbara Stuart, surgeons Dr. Jennifer Tittensor and Mark Jensen. She also received wellness ideas from; Teresa Almond, Dr. Craig Crockett, Nina Isaacson, Laura Jacobs, MaryLyn and Lindsey Linge, Karie Powell, Donna Root, Helayne Waldman, friends at Food for Health International, Medical engineer Rod Smith, Functional Alternative Clinic and organic foods from the Green Polka Dot Box. Many breast cancer survivors and caretakers also shared their suggestions. Kim was grateful for the support and was amazed at how well her body and soul responded to the healthy solutions shared.
"I just needed to stop the panic I had from discovering I had breast cancer long enough to weigh the options and realize the hope," said Kim Power Stilson. "Once I did I realized there were lots of choices and a real opportunity with what I had been taught not just to survive but thrive. I call it surthrival. To help others going through this, I wrote about my journey through those solutions in "The Surthrival Tree."
She writes in her new ebook, "The Suthrival Tree," that after careful consideration and weighing her personal health, Kim opted to combine modern medical and alternative tools to build her immune system. She used several tools on her journey, which provided powerful results and even a terrible mistake (she warns about) which caused her heart to crash three times and land her in cardiac ICU for eight days.
After her near-death experience, Kim went on to have a successful mastectomy surgery to completely remove the cancer, and now continues the combination of practices she learned which has made her immune system vibrant and well. While recovering from surgery, Kim felt inspired to write her miraculous, modern medicine, mood managing, holistic, near-death, immune-building story involving a helpful tree which guides her through the journey. “The Surthrival Tree” shares this magical and sometimes scary journey in an unusual way about what it is like to have and to fight breast cancer and build wellness with a mix of treatments and solutions. The ebook is available with a donation to Kim's treatment expenses, along with complimentary "Surthrival Tips" on how she has kept her immune system strong. Kim and friends are organizing a group of Surthrival Ambassadors to help spread the message of options and hope to those who want to surthrive.
