Turiano and her fellow members of the Woman Advocate Committee were honored with an award for Best Content on Career & Business Development, one of the 2020 Section of Litigation Committee’s Content Awards. According to the Section, the Woman Advocate Committee published many relevant and informative articles and columns, including Practice Points, on career and business development. All of the content generated high metrics.
The Woman Advocate Committee is led by experienced women litigators from across the country who work to educate and provide support and resources to all women in the field. They provide a forum for open dialogue that focuses on the issues that female attorneys regularly face and they work to lead the profession to find solutions to those issues. Turiano serves as the committee’s website editor. She also is a member of the American Bar Association’s Securities Litigation Section.
“It is an honor to work alongside and together with so many successful woman litigators, with a shared goal of strengthening current and future generations of women in law,” Turiano said upon receiving the award.
