BRIC TV Wraps Production On New Digital Series From Brooklyn. Blue. Sky. Creator Dui Jarrod
SAUCE is a scripted culinary drama set in Brooklyn, NY.
NEW YORK, Nov. 29, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- BRIC TV, the New York Emmy Award winning cable channel and digital network, has wrapped principle photography on SAUCE, a new scripted digital series about loss, redemption and reinvention in Brooklyn's competitive restaurant world. Written, directed and created by filmmaker Dui Jarrod, SAUCE is currently in post-production for a 2019 premiere.

Jarrod is a screenwriter, director and playwright best known for BROOKLYN. BLUE. SKY., the first acquired web series for BET Networks after winning the Xfinity Best Web Series Award at the American Black Film Festival. Jarrod's work focuses on the power of human connection in the landscape of America. Jarrod is currently prepping his latest digital series, KING ESTER, for the festival circuit. Shadow & Act has likened Jarrod to creators like "Ava Duvernay, Kenya Barris, Issa Rae, Donald Glover, Jordan Peele and many more [that] are masterfully reclaiming narrative control of black stories and how (they) are portrayed on screen."
SAUCE stars Roland Lane, Javana Mundy, Perri Camper and Cairo George. Aziz Isham, Kuye Youngblood and Kecia Élan Cole will serve as BRIC TV Executive Producers. The series will be produced by Caralene Robinson, Rhavynn Drummer, Jon Mallow and Dui Jarrod.
