ATLANTA, June 23, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Business Relationship Management Institute (BRM Institute)—the premier membership, professional development, and certification organization for business relationship management—announced today the new learning format opportunity for their BRM Fundamentals course, an online self-paced format. This self-paced instruction is constructed in such a way that the learner proceeds from one topic or segment to the next at their own speed and in their own time.
BRM Fundamentals introduces business relationship management as a capability, role, discipline, and philosophy. The course is designed to facilitate an understanding of BRM Fundamentals and is open to everyone at any level and from any role through advancing an organization's existing BRM capability and advancing the learner's professional development. BRM Fundamentals is a part of the BRM Institute Knowledge Path to Success Introduction Series that serves as an addition to BRM Institute's current BRM certification programs, BRMP® and CBRM®.
There are pre-built video exercises corresponding to specific concepts of BRM Fundamentals, so to complete them, individuals often have to articulate what specific ideas mean in a particular context, determine how they impact roles and advance relationships across the organization. These activities help validate that professionals understand and have the necessary skills to succeed.
"As a non-profit organization, representing their members' career/profession needs, BRM Institute continually evaluates all aspects of its operations, including training models, knowledge offerings, demand, and pricing to ensure the needs of their members are satisfied. Demand from the single, global BRM community to have more individualized, self-paced learning opportunities provided by the Institute is the reason for developing the self-paced version of BRM Fundamentals. This is our first but will not be our last as we see a future with a mixed assortment of learning opportunities for the global BRM community," states Marleen Lundy, Chief Development Officer of BRM Institute.
