Broadband Hospitality Marks its 25th Year By Unveiling New Branding to Reflect its Evolution as a Provider of Full-Scale Unified Technology Solutions
Rebranding Repositions BBH as a national presence and brand-preferred hotel technology solution
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio, Nov. 19, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Broadband Hospitality (BBH), a preferred provider of unified technology solutions for hotels, marked its 25th anniversary in hospitality technology by unveiling new branding that more accurately reflects its evolution into a true full-scale technology partner and brand-preferred solution by major hotel brands nationwide.
The company's rebranding efforts include an updated logo and a refreshed website (http://www.broadbandhospitality.com) that showcases the broad range of hotel technology products and solutions that BBH offers today, as the company's services have evolved significantly over 25 years in order to meet the growing needs of hotels and their guests.
Serving Customers for 25 Years…The Evolution of Broadband Hospitality
Formerly known as "Great Lakes Telecom," BBH has grown considerably since its origination in 1993 as a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based telecom provider. The company later relocated to Youngstown, Ohio and changed its name to "Broadband Hospitality" in 1998 to better reflect its growing presence in the hospitality technology space. In 2000, it installed its first high-speed internet access system, and a year later, BBH began offering customers 24/7 support services. In 2008, the first acquisition of another industry company, IP-Hotels, was accomplished. By 2009, the company had expanded its services to include DIRECTV installation. In 2013, BBH became part of a select group of providers to carry the Marriott GPNS Certification. The acquisition of Sunset Telecom and GuestNet by BBH in 2015 expanded the company's offering to include PBX phone systems and expanded its internet client base. Today, BBH operates as a single source offering full-scale technology solutions that help hotels improve performance and enhance the guest experience.
"As we reflect back on 25 years, I am both humbled and proud of our growth and our ongoing ability to serve the evolving the needs of our customers," says Broadband Hospitality CEO Vince Lucci. "What began as a one-man, one-service operation from my living room in 1993 has since evolved into BBH today known as a nationally recognized company with 50+ employees and a customer base of 850+ hotels nationwide. Our rebranding directly reflects our ongoing commitment toward evolving and growing the BBH product offering to meet the needs of our hotel customers today and tomorrow."
