Brookhaven Retreat Meets with Consultant Dr. Lynn Swisher in October
Knoxville, TN (PRWEB) October 29, 2014 -- On October 21 and 22, Brookhaven Retreat hosted an on-site visit by Dr. Swisher. This two-day visit allowed Dr. Swisher to meet with all of Brookhaven Retreat’s committees and provide additional administrative support.
As a member of Brookhaven Retreat’s professional consulting team, Dr. Swisher attends and oversees each of Brookhaven Retreat’s monthly performance improvement meetings. These committees create self-monitoring reports for their department that are thoroughly reviewed by Dr. Swisher in order to make system improvements and ensure Joint Commission Compliance standards.
In addition to the monthly performance improvement evaluations, Dr. Swisher monitors Brookhaven Retreat’s emergency code system and ensures that all new staff is properly trained.
During the October visit, Dr. Swisher met with the education committee to discuss future training seminars and certification courses that will be offered to current staff and made sure that all systems and departments were not only meeting, but also exceeding the standards required to support continued optimal care.
