The Mike Evans Family Foundation has teamed up with charitable platform, CAUZEO, to host an online fundraiser that will award donors the chance to win one of three amazing prize packages.
TAMPA, Fla., May 30, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Mike Evans will soon be lacing up his cleats, however it won't be to step on a football field just yet. The 2x Super Bowl Champion will be golfing in his fourth annual Mike Evans Family Foundation Golf Outing, which supports the efforts of his non-profit. The foundation has teamed up with charitable platform, CAUZEO, to host an online fundraiser that will award donors the chance to win one of three amazing prize packages. The initiative is part of an effort to thank fans for their support and make the events more accessible.
One grand prize winner will win two tickets to golf in a foursome during the Foundation's annual Golf Outing on Friday, June 9, 2023 at River Hills Country Club in Valrico, FL. Golf attendees will enjoy breakfast, lunch refreshments and a Nike duffle bag, complete with hat, water bottle and polo. Grand prize winner will also receive two tickets to join Evans at the 2nd Annual Mike Evans Family Foundation Gala. Winner and guest will enjoy VIP tickets, meet and greet and photo opportunity with the 4x Pro Bowler. One first place winner will also receive two tickets to golf in a foursome at the Golf Outing on June 9th and a second-place winner will receive an autographed Mike Evans jersey.
Events such as the Golf Outing and Gala provide crucial funding to annual community programs ran by the Mike Evans Family Foundation. Catch for Kids ties Mike's on-field performance to his off-field generosity. For every yard Mike earns during the season, one essential item is donated to help others, and for every touchdown he scores, 13 additional items are donated. During the holidays, Mike, Ashli and the Evans family give gifts to kids in Tampa through the annual Catch for Christmas program, which has included holiday parties, door-to-door gift giving, shopping sprees, college scholarships, and more. The foundation also aims to encourage education through the Mike Evans Family Foundation annual scholarship program, which awards 13 recipients with a $10,000 scholarship.
Fans that donate $13 or more to the cause, in honor of Evans #13 will be entered to win. Donors can enter by visiting https://go.cauzeo.com/evans. Campaign closes Saturday, June 3rd at 11:00pm eastern standard time. Winner will be drawn and contacted on Monday, June 5th at 10:00am EST; as well as publicly announced on the Foundation's official social media.
