ATLANTA, Sept. 29, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Builders Insurance Group is celebrating recent growth and expansion by revealing a new brand identity and shortening its name to "Builders." Builders, which has a 30-year history and long insurance expertise in the construction industry, is expanding through strategic diversification into new territories and additional verticals. Builders' commercial insurance products include innovative Workers' Compensation, General Liability, Property, Umbrella, and Builders Risk Insurance delivered through independent agents and managing general agents.

Builders' modernized brand image and name change reflects the many internal transformations that have taken place within the company. The company's renewal is driven by a fresh vision, new leadership, improved technologies, updated systems and expansion into new markets. The new brand identity includes a redesigned logo that features a lowercase "b" built from triangles. As the conceptual development of a refreshed Builders identity came to life, the idea was built upon the organization's stability and strength, using the strongest and most stable geometric shape, the triangle. The triangle is structurally sound with its firm base and ability to hold its shape. Collectively, the triangles form the letter "b," directionally playing on the concept of building and combining pieces together to form one strong unit. Shades of blue denote trust, dependability, stability, and the confidence to always do what is best for agents and their policyholders.

Builders' new tagline, "Insurance built strong," reflects Builders' legacy of unwavering support to its agents and their clients, robust financial strength, exceptional expertise, and deeply supportive partnerships marked by highly personal service.

Todd M. Campbell, who assumed the role of president and chief executive officer on April 5, 2021, sees the new brand identity as a visual representation of the next bold chapter in the company's 30-year legacy. "We are heavily investing in our growth, which first and foremost includes investing in our people and talent development, product innovations, service delivery, and technology advancements," said Campbell. "We have the capital strength and the balance sheet to achieve our growth vision and to deliver on commitments for our policyholders and agents," added Campbell.

Builders has 154 employees and has exceeded $1 billion in total assets for a second consecutive year. The company recently achieved its highest ever surplus exceeding $300M. Builders also issued the 25th consecutive dividend in 2021, bringing cumulative dividends paid since 1997 to more than $53 million. There has been more than $67 million in growth in members' equity over the past two years. Builders' most recent growth and expansion includes new agency locations in Arizona, with Michigan and Indiana to follow in 2021. Builders' products are currently offered through more than 350 agency locations in 17 states.
