BuildMyHealth, the developer of the No Surprises Act-compliant price transparency and lead conversion platform, has announced the appointment of Chad Sawyer as the brand's first-ever Chief Revenue Officer
SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 22, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- BuildMyHealth, the developer of the No Surprises Act-compliant price transparency, and lead conversion platform announced the hiring of Chad Sawyer as the brand's first-ever Chief Revenue Officer. Chad, who brings eight years of sales experience within the medical marketing field, previously held national sales executive positions with Crystal Clear Digital Marketing and Patient Now. In those roles, he was responsible for helping hundreds of medical practices integrate the Crystal Clear and Patient Now products into their websites and daily workflow. In his position with BuildMyHealth, Chad will implement the price transparency and lead-generating platform in doctors' offices, medical labs, radiology facilities, ASCs, and hospitals.
"Chad brings a wealth of knowledge, workflow capabilities, and office management to BuildMyHealth," said Dr. Jonathan Kaplan, founder/CEO of BuildMyHealth, and a board-certified plastic surgeon. "His sales acumen, experience, and charisma will provide the escape velocity for our brand's growth at this critical juncture. We are very excited to have Chad on board."
While at Patient Now, Chad increased customer acquisition, technology adoption, and most importantly, customer retention, as the national sales executive. He also achieved recognition as a faculty member at some of the top medical association meetings in the country during his seven-year career at Crystal Clear Digital Marketing. As an early-stage investor as well as a top sales producer, Chad was rewarded for his efforts through the acquisition of Crystal Clear by two top-tier private equity firms.
Dr. Kaplan believes Chad's new role within the company will allow BuildMyHealth to take full advantage of the new pro-transparency movement sweeping across the healthcare industry, including elective, medically necessary services, as well as the aesthetic space. His outreach to all providers and past connections will primarily involve education on the benefits of price transparency from a business perspective and also regulatory compliance standpoint. "With the No Surprises Act, the Federal government is outlawing surprise bills and emphasizing price transparency in urgent and elective aspects of healthcare. The focus of BuildMyHealth has always been price transparency, and now we have a mandate on the Federal level," Dr. Kaplan said.
Chad will oversee the sales team and client success division at BuildMyHealth. In addition, he will attend major aesthetic and medical conferences, primarily as a speaker, rather than an exhibitor. "There were two things that intrigued me about this opportunity: selling a product that had the support of Federal law and Dr. Kaplan's encouragement to speak more on topics of practice management and regulatory compliance. I'm so happy to be here and a part of a great brand," Chad said.
Chad graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Marketing. He is skilled in medical software, CRM, sales, and online marketing.
