Looks to Grow Brand Recognition in 2021

The company now owns and operates 11 properties in Arizona and Texas, many of which received valuable recognition during a challenging year from key industry organizations, online influencers and niche publications.

High company scores from Google, Glassdoor and others: Nothing says more about a brand than what customers and employees think of it.
Bargain Storage earned more than 500 five-star reviews in 2020, securing a 4.9-star average on Google reviews, with customers frequently noting excellent customer service, caring staff, clean facilities and upgraded security features.
Bargain Storage also conducted its first companywide annual survey, asking customers how likely they would be to refer a friend or family member to the business. Fully 81% of respondents would promote Bargain Storage, earning an NPS score of 74 – which is nearly double the industry average.
Meanwhile, employees gave Bargain Storage 4.8 stars out of five on Glassdoor, a website that allows workers to rank businesses anonymously. Among reviews, 96% of respondents would recommend the company to a friend as a great place to work.
Standout success in Fort Worth: Five organizations recognized Fort Worth Bargain Storage for its standout performance. The Fort Worth location was one of 11 businesses to receive the 2020 Central Texas Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics, earning recognition for its impressive reviews, customer service and emphasis on developing team chemistry among employees. The location also earned favorable rankings from websites Top Rated Local, StorageUnits.com, ThreeBestRated.com and Expertise.com.
Big in Texas: Bargain Storage's locations in Dallas, DeSoto and Plano all made key listings in the self-storage industry for Top Rated Local, while Dallas, Plano and the recently sold Houston location earned honors from StorageUnits.com. The company also acquired its newest location, in Wylie, in May 2020.
Rising Arizona: Bargain Storage's two Glendale locations ranked in the top three across all facilities in Glendale, according to website Top Rated Local. The facilities also received recognition from Expertise.com and LocalBest.com, which selected Glendale for its 2020 Top 5 award. The Phoenix location also earned recognition from website Top Rated Local, StorageUnits.com and ThreeBestRated.com. Meanwhile, Youngtown Bargain Storage is featured in the January 2021 edition of the Youngtown Village Reporter.
In the news: Upstart business venture Carefree Covered RV Storage, which acquired its first property in fall 2019, was featured in the East Valley Courier Newspaper in Arizona. The company in Nov. 2020 acquired its second location, in Chandler, Arizona, which included 594 covered, enclosed or open-air parking spots. It is now undergoing $4 million in planned improvements.
National exposure: Bargain Storage in 2020 cracked Inside Self-Storage's top 100 list for most square footage as one of the "industry's leading players." And Raber, the company president, has been selected by Top 100 Magazine to be featured in an upcoming edition of its Top 100 People in Real Estate Magazine.
