Over $125,000 in allowance has been donated to 58 charities featured on chore app
PHOENIX, Oct. 12, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- BusyKid believes to be financially successful in life, kids must learn from an early age how to earn, save, share, spend and invest. This balanced financial approach doesn't come naturally, and it's not taught in schools. That's why the BusyKid app has been designed to help the next generations start developing an understanding of managing money, as well as, building solid routines to be better at managing money wisely.
BusyKid has several unique features to help provide kids real life experience with money, but one of the most popular, lets them pick from 58 listed national or regional charities to donate a portion of the money earned. Matter of fact, the company closing in on the 60-charity mark by adding Dare to Dream Ranch, Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network, Hoosier Burn Camp, Jovante Woods Foundation and the Wisconsin Humane Society. As the first app that allowedkids to earn, save, share, spend and invest real allowance by completing weekly chores and activities, BusyKid has already helped its kids donate over $125,000.
"There's quite a bit of uncertainty in the world right now but it doesn't take away from the fact that there are non-profit organizations working hard to make a difference who really need support," says BusyKid CEO Gregg Murset. "We have made sharing (donating) and major part of our app because we believe it's part of living a balanced financial life and kids need to learn how to be philanthropic. It's been incredible to see the weekly donations kids make through our app. Some even send all they earn in a week. Now that's being committed to a cause."
