buyTickets.com Offering Discount on Tickets to See Twenty One Pilots
Denver, CO (PRWEB) March 17, 2016 -- Twenty One Pilots, a duo from Columbus, Ohio, will be kicking off the North American leg of their world tour in support of their most recent album, Blurryface. The band’s single “Stressed Out” reached Number 2 on the Billboard charts. The duo’s music combines several genres. It features lyrics about growing up and several instruments and musical styles, including piano, bass, drums, pop, hard rock, and recorded backing tracks.
The band took their name from an Arthur Miller play, All My Sons, about a contractor who knowingly sells defective airplane parts to the military during World War II, which leads to the deaths of 21 pilots. Band members Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun said in an interview with Rolling Stone (January 14, 2016) that the name is a metaphor for not taking the easy road. Despite turning down recording deals with signing bonuses, the band has repeatedly sold out venues worldwide. Blurryface was released in 2015. It was Twenty-One Pilots’ first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200. The Blurryface World Tour has included dates in the United States, Australia, Europe, Japan, and Southeast Asia.
In addition to Twenty One Pilots, buyTickets.com offers a wide variety of discounted concert tickets, sport tickets, theater tickets, and other event tickets, all 100% guaranteed to be authentic and delivered on time.
