One-of-a-kind benchmarking report provides salaries and benefits for management professionals in the California CID industry.
LAGUNA HILLS, Calif., July 14, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Did you know that 56% of management companies in California offer remote/virtual work arrangements and 49% of employees are utilizing them? That's just one of the findings from CACM's recently completed 2022 Compensation & Benefits Study. The California Association of Community Managers (CACM) partnered with Whorton Research to deliver the updated study.

The survey was conducted from mid-April through early May 2022 via email. The survey was sent to members and non-members. A total of 699 individuals responded.
Respondents overall reported an average total annual salary of $96,088, and a median of $80,000 in 2021. That's up from an average of $90,756 and a median of $77,000 in 2020.
Other insights from the study include:
- Los Angeles-area management professionals reported a mean hourly wage of $52.27, 12% higher than the statewide average.
- The reported average annual salary of a community/association manager was $73,091 in 2021.
- Almost all employees have health insurance available, and more than 80% report that employee dental and vision are also available. Employee life insurance is offered to roughly 70% and long-term and short-term disability are made available to about half of community association professionals in California.
