Howes will work in partnership with the global sales, client success and product organizations to deliver solution-oriented software and services tailored to customers' unique business challenges. The announcement comes as Calero continues to build upon the momentum of its record success in 2018, and continued success in 2019 in both new customer bookings and MMS revenue growth. Howes brings over 15 years of extensive experience in designing unique and innovative solutions that provide meaningful data, which will enable customers to drive impactful business outcomes. In his new role, he will be responsible for ensuring that Calero's service portfolio meets and exceeds the needs of its customers. Howes will also head up a "Voice of the Customer" forum, which empowers end users with direct access to Senior Leadership to provide suggestions for enhancements to the Calero product roadmap, implementation processes and ongoing service delivery.
Before joining Calero, Howes served as Vice President of the Government Managed Mobility Services Division at DMI, where he was responsible for providing strategic mobile services that met stringent government requirements, including mobile expense management. Prior to DMI, Howes pioneered the enterprise mobility practice at American Airlines, including establishing trusted partner relationships in support of more than 100,000 mobile devices and 165,000 mobile assets. While there, he was recognized as a distinguished mobile innovator in 2015 for architecting the first ever Mobile Innovation Center, which was built to drive innovation and collaboration throughout the airline.
Howes is a former United States combat veteran, having spent 9 years in the US Marine Corps as a Satellite Communications Engineer.
