ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 23, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- CALIBRE Systems, Inc. (CALIBRE) has announced that Richard Y. Pineda has been promoted to President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mr. Pineda, who was named President in November 2018, succeeds Joe Martore, who will retire on May 31, 2019 after 15 years with the company.

Mr. Pineda joined CALIBRE in November 2018, as part of the acquisition of SPEAR, Inc. where he served as the Co-Founder and CEO. Earlier in his career, he was President of Dell Services Federal Government. Mr. Pineda received his B.S. in Finance from Virginia Tech, and M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance and Management Information Systems from George Washington University. Mr. Pineda serves on the Board of Directors for the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), Community Foundation for Northern Virginia, Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF), Laurel Grove Museum Association; is a member of the Virginia Tech President's Leadership Council; and is the co-chair for the Northern Virginia Complete Count Committee in support of the 2020 Decennial Census.
