ATLANTA, June 19, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- CallRail, the world's most popular call tracking and analytics provider, today announced its expansion into online form tracking. Since its inception, CallRail has helped businesses track phone calls back to the ads, web pages and keywords that drove them. Now, CallRail's signature multi-touch attribution insights will be available for businesses that capture leads through form submissions.
Marketers know all too well that tracking and understanding where leads are coming from is a daunting task that often involves a manual effort to reconcile data across multiple platforms. Moreover, form submission data rarely includes insights about the lead's web session, making it nearly impossible to understand how leads are behaving before filling out a form. To date, only the most sophisticated marketers have the budget for this insight into their marketing performance, but CallRail's product expansion seeks to empower businesses of all sizes with omnichannel attribution –– all in a single platform.
"Measuring marketing performance is critical, but challenging, and today's businesses are looking for reporting that will help them optimize their marketing efforts and maximize their marketing budgets," said Kevin Mann, co-founder and chief product officer at CallRail. "Our form tracking product was built to enable small and mid-sized businesses to better invest in lead-generating marketing activities."
To further lower the barrier of entry for businesses seeking attribution for their form submissions, CallRail also released a custom form builder. With this tool, marketers can design and embed custom-built forms on any webpage where they aim to capture leads.
CallRail Form Tracking employs the technology that its existing call tracking tool was built on, leveraging a single line of JavaScript code to track a website visitor's digital touchpoints, even before they fill out a form or pick up the phone. This touchpoint data can also be sent to key marketing platforms –– such as Google Ads, Bing Ads or Facebook Business Manager –– so marketers can view actionable conversion data alongside marketing spend.
CallRail customers including Brand Your Practice, Fair Marketing and Eruptr, among more than 100 others, have already been using the new form tracking capabilities in private beta.
"As an agency, it's critical for us to show our clients how the ads we're running are generating leads –– whether via offline phone call or an online form submission," said Brent Stutzman, owner of Chicago-area digital marketing agency Brand Your Practice. "CallRail helps us report on both lead types in one platform. It's the tool we use to prove the impact of all of our efforts."
CallRail Form Tracking is free for up to 100 submissions a month and also includes 10 custom-built forms.
