RALEIGH, N.C. (PRWEB) September 21, 2018
CAM Raleigh is excited to announce the opening of: Above the Rim, presented by PNC Bank, an exhibition exploring the joy and community of basketball. On view October 5, 2018–February 3, 2019, Above the Rim features fifteen international artists' work that celebrates the energy, poetry, and excitement of the game of basketball. The exhibition is guest curated by Phil America.
The centerpiece of Above the Rim is a half-court basketball court created by Felipe Pantone. Visitors are invited to play basketball inside CAM’s gallery as part of Pantone’s wildly colorful, interactive artwork. CAM Raleigh will present free programming for all ages alongside: Above the Rim, including five Free Family Saturdays with fun, hands-on activities like art-making, basketball activities, dance, healthy snacks, and artist talks.
