Zinus benefits from visionary project approach during travel restrictions
MEDIA, Pa., May 8, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Camelot Innovative Technologies Lab (Camelot ITLab) today announced that the implementation of SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP) for its client Zinus at sites in the US, UK, China and Indonesia will be delivered 100% virtually across four times zones. Camelot's digital collaboration and agile project approach enables this lighthouse project in times of global quarantines and travel restrictions.
Zinus is a rapidly growing e-commerce mattress and furniture company headquartered in South Korea. Founded in 1979, Zinus grew into an international company with focus on the US and expansion in Europe. The IPO of Zinus was one of the biggest IPOs in South Korea in 2019. To support and accelerate this growth, Zinus decided to implement SAP Integrated Business Planning, the state-of-the-art Supply Chain Planning Platform of SAP, with Camelot ITLab as the preferred consulting partner.
The scope of the project includes supply chain processes for Demand Management, Supply Planning and S&OP (sales and operations planning), implemented in the first stage of their supply chain transformation. The Zinus leadership team saw an essential opportunity to make their supply chain more resilient to address any global challenges, for example COVID-19, and were keen to pursue the project despite the exceptional circumstances amidst a pandemic.
