Camera IQ Launches Social Distribution Solution to Unlock the Full Potential of Programmatic AR Advertising

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Oct. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Camera IQ, the world's first augmented reality (AR) platform for camera marketing, today launched their social distribution solution for programmatic AR marketing and advertising.

The announcement comes on the heels of recent news by both Facebook and Snap about AR advertising. Back in July, Facebook announced that it was testing AR ads. It was also written that, "Snap is betting its future on AR ads." On September 27th, Snap took this capability out of beta and made it available to all advertisers. These announcements are accompanied by several new platform plays, including Snapchat's new e-commerce features, Mozilla pushes web AR, and Shopify AR powered by 3D Warehouse.

Now, for the first time ever, there is an integrated AR ecosystem that supports an end-to-end AR strategy, from content creation to performance monitoring and optimization.

Camera IQ's platform allows these brands to easily create and test the AR content that they plan to deploy AR experiences inside of advertisements bought on the Facebook and Snap programmatic platforms. Now, for the first time ever, there is an integrated AR ecosystem that supports an end-to-end AR strategy, from content creation to performance monitoring and optimization.

Using Camera IQ's Camera Experience Manager (CEM), brands can leverage their best digital assets to rapidly create Augmented Reality Experiences (AREs). Brands are then able to deploy their AREs across both organic and paid distribution channels, including Snap's and Facebook's paid-media platforms. They can also measure the performance of AR content across multiple distribution channels, so they can execute A/B tests and quickly lock in a winning strategy.
