Canadian Creative Agency Brings Home Six MUSE Awards While Bringing Awareness to Mental Health

iTribe Social Inc. a marketing and business development start-up known for their disruptive strategy models and inventive media, announced today that their company has received multiple awards from the 2019 Muse Creative Awards competition. Out of more than 2,000 submissions from 42 countries, iTribe Social Inc. has won Silver, Platinum and Gold awards for a series of videos they produced focusing on mental health awareness. Their pieces: The Therapy Session (Silver winner- Fitness and Platinum winner- Social Video category), The Creative Process (Platinum winner- Budget Below $3000 and Nonprofit) and The Daily Grind (Platinum winner Nonprofit and Gold winner Social Video) were created by award winning producer Michael D. Smith for iTribe Social Inc. as a part of their campaign to raise awareness for mental health and wellness through media.
The Muse Creative and Muse Design Awards are international competitions for creative and design professionals from all disciplines, who help push the evolution of their industry in a positive direction. Smith and Michelle Tegola explain that a big part of their company culture is to foster open and honest conversation in the work place around the mental health of their team decided to create a series of videos that demonstrate this issue from abstract perspectives. Their video titled The Therapy Session explores alternative outlets people may use to manage their mental health through fitness. In The Creative Process, iTribe used the process of creating art as a form of expression and metaphor for mental illness, specifically the experience of mania. Their final video The Daily Grind brings to light the idea of what a "daily grind" feels like for someone suffering with mental illness.
Both the Muse Creative and Muse Design Awards are administered and judged by International Awards Associates (IAA), and stellar panels of internationally-recognized professionals from both fields. IAA oversees awards and recognition programs, assembles judging panels, and sets rigorous standards for both competitions.
Numerous entries from international brands and top agencies from around the world were received for this year's award program. The amount of time and passion dedicated to producing such astonishing works is truly admirable. Entries submitted by agencies for companies and brands such as Netflix, FOX Networks Group Spain, Walt Disney, Disney Channel, Warner Brothers, Audi, Ford, Kia, Jaguar Land Rover, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Dell EMC and McLaren, Bank of America, Dell Technologies, Coca Cola, Carlsberg, Longines, AIA Singapore, Taiwan Tourism Bureau, Nu Skin, Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board, Morris Animal Foundation, French American Chamber of Commerce are among some of the winners from this year's award.
