Canter Companies Strengthens Portfolio with Launch of Strategic Wealth Management Division
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) January 15, 2015 -- Canter Companies, a full-service investment and real estate firm dedicated to the entire lifecycle of development and investments, today announced the launch of its newest division, Canter Strategic Wealth Management. After starting in 2007 as a small real estate boutique firm, the company has expanded to four divisions – Canter Development, Canter Brokerage, Canter Capital and Canter Strategic Wealth Management – with more than 60 employees. This new division called Canter Wealth provides a unique value proposition that combines wealth management services with real estate in one location. The office is located in the La Jolla community of Bird Rock. Canter Wealth will be led by Managing Director Eric McMullen, a 20–year veteran in the financial services industry.
Canter Wealth bridges the gap between real estate services and investment opportunities and can provide access to adaptive and focused investment tools to help clients achieve their long-term financial goals.

Canter Companies worked with the local division of Gensler, a global architecture firm, to design the office space using the surrounding community of Bird Rock as the inspiration. It features an open concept with reclaimed wood, indoor and outdoor seating and custom artwork by local artist Aaron Chang to instill a welcoming, communal atmosphere. The Bird Rock location, at 5623 La Jolla Boulevard in La Jolla, also serves as a meeting place and host to reoccurring community events that include barbecues, beer tastings and open houses. The first Bird Rock open house of 2015 will be held this Friday, January 16 starting at 1 p.m. and will include complimentary food and beverages for all guests.
