Canto Introduces Adobe InDesign Plug-In for Flight ACE
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) June 24, 2015 -- Canto today launched the Adobe InDesign Plug-In for their Flight ACE (Asset Collaboration and Engagement) platform. The InDesign Plug-In will extend the creative workflow capabilities of Flight by enabling users to drag-and-drop files from Flight into InDesign to create linked assets.
Flight’s goal has always been to build upon the basic functions of a DAM (Digital Asset Management) system to create a central asset repository without the need for hardware or IT support, bring teams together on one platform so work can be done collaboratively and provide a way for users to engage audiences with valuable brand content over multiple channels. Canto’s deep knowledge in DAM, having pioneered the industry over 20 years ago, makes it well suited to deliver this offering.
The InDesign Plug-In for Flight will allow designated users to connect their Flight and InDesign accounts, adding value to both systems. Users of the InDesign Plug-in can perform global searches in the Flight application to find and visualize the files they want to drag-and-drop into InDesign documents. The Plug-In will prompt InDesign to create a link to the files location in Flight and notify uses when linked files have been updated.
The introduction of the InDesign Plug-In for Flight signifies Canto’s commitment to deliver modern marketing solutions that simplify everyday processes, in an intuitive fashion.
