Capitect’s Portfolio Architect enables advisors to go above and beyond simple model portfolios by delivering personalized portfolios unique to each client.

Capitect, an innovative advisor technology platform, announced today that it has been named a finalist in two categories in the prestigious 2019 Industry Awards Program. Capitect’s Portfolio Architect was selected by a judging panel of industry veterans and thought leaders in a highly competitive submission process of over 650 nominations as a finalist in the Portfolio Management Technology category. Additionally, Capitect’s Chief Technology Officer, Greg Yee was shortlisted as a finalist for CTO of the Year. It is the second consecutive year that Capitect has been nominated in multiple categories.

“Capitect’s Portfolio Architect enables advisors to go above and beyond simple model portfolios by delivering personalized portfolios unique to each client,” said Edwin Choi, CEO of Capitect.

Portfolio Architect enables advisors to digitize their investment strategies using a fully customizable hierarchy of asset classes, which allow for “infinite drill down.” Advisors can design any number of fully customizable sliders to systematically personalize portfolios to each client’s circumstances, goals, and objectives. By enabling the construction of truly personalized portfolios for each client, Capitect’s Portfolio Architect allows advisors to continue to differentiate their service and maintain their premium pricing.

As Co-Founder and CTO, Greg Yee takes on numerous executive roles, including the management of technology and product development. In the area of technology, Mr. Yee oversees all software design, development, quality assurance, deployment, operations, and data security. In the area of product, Mr. Yee is responsible for assessing and prioritizing new features, all technology integrations, and ongoing project management including communications with advisors.

Drawing on his past experience managing technology, engineering, and product teams within companies large and small, Greg Yee has adopted industry best practices in software development, technical architecture, and use of open-source technologies that enable Capitect to rapidly build and deliver high-quality, easy-to-use solutions and enhancements that meet the changing expectations of advisors and their clients.

“Capitect is experiencing growing momentum in the wealth management space and we are extremely honored to be named a finalist again this year,” said Choi. “Portfolio Architect will be a game-changing product addition and with the leadership from our CTO Greg Yee, Capitect is positioned to accelerate that momentum. We look forward to celebrating the winners at the gala event in New York City in September where the industry will gather for this unique event.”
