Capitol Physical Therapy Welcomes Professional Development Coordinator
Madison, Wisconsin (PRWEB) September 14, 2016 -- Capitol Physical Therapy is excited to announce the addition of a new clinician and Professional Development Coordinator, Kyle Knauff, to their Verona location. Dr. Knauff is a proud graduate of Marquette University’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program. He has over 10 years of experience working with patients of all ages in general orthopedics and sports medicine. He started his career in Chicago where he worked with high school, collegiate, and professional athletes across a wide range of sports. He has developed his own baseball pitching analysis system, performs video gait analysis, and works with post-concussion athletes.
Dr. Knauff is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board for Physical Therapy Specialists. He also has advanced training in specialized soft tissue and muscle treatments in the form of Functional Dry Needling and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. He values the use of manual therapy in treating both soft tissue and joint dysfunction when working with his patients. In addition, Dr. Knauff is an American Physical Therapy Association Certified Clinical Instructor and has mentored students from across the country. He is currently the Treasurer of the Southwest District of the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association.
When not working, he enjoys playing sports, watching Chicago sports teams, and spending time with his wife, two children, and dog.
