David Morrisey Promoted to Vice President of Construction Management for Capstone Development Partners
BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Nov. 2, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Capstone Development Partners ("Capstone"), a leader in the on-campus student housing development and P3 industry, today announced a promotion within the company's construction management division. David Morrisey has been promoted from Senior Construction Manager to Vice President of Construction Management.
David Morrisey brings more than 15 years of construction management experience with on-campus student housing, beginning his career at Capstone as a Quality Control Manager and advancing into Construction Manager and then Senior Construction Manager at the company. As Vice President of Construction Management, David will lead and oversee the company's Construction Management division, providing critical leadership to ensure Capstone continues its successful track record of delivering quality projects on-time and under budget. David has led the construction of over 3,000 beds of housing on campuses including that of the University of Massachusetts Boston and Arizona State University. He is currently leading Capstone's construction team on the construction of the new Portland Commons Residence Hall and Career & Student Success Center at the University of Southern Maine in Portland, ME, opening in 2023.
David's appointment to Vice President reflects the advancement and growth efforts of Capstone, as it looks ahead to 2023 and beyond. Capstone is enjoying continued growth nationally across its student housing platform, with a 2 to 3-year development and management pipeline of approximately 4,300 beds valued at more than $1 billion.
