Capture Higher Ed Leadership Selected as Endeavor Entrepreneurs at 90th International Selection Panel
ATLANTA (PRWEB) October 03, 2019 -- Capture Higher Ed CEO Steve Huey, President Leonard Napolitano and Chief Technology Officer Eric Shriner were named Endeavor Entrepreneurs at the 90th International Selection Panel (ISP), Sept. 23-25, in Atlanta. The three Capture leaders were among 37 high-impact entrepreneurs leading 21 companies from 15 markets selected through the ISP.
The ISP was the culmination of a rigorous, multi-step process to identify high-impact entrepreneurs who demonstrate potential to leverage Endeavor’s resources and mentorship to create large-scale wealth and jobs. The ISP process also identifies those who are committed to reinvesting their time and money in their local entrepreneurship community to help others take off.
“I have a passion for Capture Higher Ed, and I have a passion for entrepreneurship,” Huey said. “Even though Capture has grown to more than 80 employees, and our Behavioral Intelligence Platform is being used across the country, I still like to think of Capture as a start-up because we are so nourished and driven by innovation.”
Panelists who were drawn from Endeavor’s extensive network of board members, mentors, supporters and experienced Endeavor Entrepreneurs interviewed candidates about their businesses, evaluating them on their potential for high-impact growth and deliberating on which candidates should be selected to become Endeavor Entrepreneurs. At the end of the three-day process, the panelists were required to vote unanimously for a candidate to become an Endeavor Entrepreneur.
As Endeavor Entrepreneurs, Capture now has access to comprehensive customized services, including introductions to local and international business mentors and volunteers from Fortune 500 consulting firms who will help them address key needs.
“At Capture Higher Ed, we are excited and proud to be included among the talented and promising entrepreneurs selected by Endeavor,” Napolitano said. “Capture is leading a profound evolution in university enrollment management by fundamentally shifting how universities engage with their prospective students. With Endeavor’s support, we at Capture feel poised to take our Behavioral Intelligence Platform to the next level while participating and collaborating in this dynamic community of entrepreneurs.”
Capture was one of two Kentucky companies selected during the ISP along with AppHarvest of Morehead, Ky. The two are the 12th and 13th companies, respectively, selected into the global Endeavor network through the regional affiliated office in Louisville.
“Capture Higher Ed and AppHarvest represented themselves and our region in terrific fashion and have many people buzzing about what is happening in our market,” explained Jackson Andrews, managing director of Endeavor’s Louisville office. “They represent the future of work and opportunity in our community. Our market is firmly on the map for high-growth entrepreneurship and our impact is amplifying — big day for our growing Endeavor community!”
Endeavor now supports 1,967 entrepreneurs leading 1,227 companies in 35 markets around the world.
“The ISP represents the heart and soul of the Endeavor experience, where today’s business leaders dedicate their time and expertise to lifting up the next generation of high-impact entrepreneurs,” said Endeavor Co-founder and CEO Linda Rottenberg. “We look forward to supporting the newest Endeavor Entrepreneurs in their journeys to scale, and welcoming them into our global network!”
