The February 11th event, titled “Learning Lab – Creating Your Retirement Plan,” was an interactive workshop designed to help attendees map their options for transitioning their careers, families and finances into the retirement phase of their lives.
“I was ecstatic to have the opportunity to work with the American Family DreamBank and help attendees examine and prepare for their retirements,” commented Erickson. “A study by the Transamerica Center for Retirement Studies found that only 14% of Baby Boomers have a written strategy for their retirement. The assessment results helped attendees understand the numerous considerations necessary to achieve their ideal retirement lifestyle.
