Carpet One Floor & Home Members Celebrate the Power of Partnership
Denver, CO (PRWEB) July 31, 2013 -- Carpet One Floor & Home members gathered in Denver, Colorado for their summer convention where they were introduced to new products and programs. Members and staff spent three days networking under the theme “The Power of Partnership.”
“Our theme this summer really gets at the heart of what Carpet One Floor & Home is all about,” said Eric Demaree, President of Carpet One Floor & Home. “Our partnerships with members, vendors and staff are what make us strong.”
To help members get the most out of their time at Convention, Carpet One Floor & Home provided a mobile app to enhance the Convention experience. The app includes maps, speaker information, schedules, vendor information and social sharing.
On the Convention Floor, members got their first look at a new groutable LVT line exclusive to Carpet One Floor & Home. VeroStone offers great natural stone visuals with higher performance and lower maintenance.
Members were entertained by Julie Edelman, The Accidental Housewife. Julie provided fun and easy tips on home care and maintenance. These tips – or “sanity-savers” – were recommended for members to use with their customers.
“It was a lot of fun to meet the Carpet One Floor & Home members,” said Julie. “I love how Carpet One’s great products as well as their expertise and consumer tools help make shopping for flooring sanity free.”
CCA Global Partners announced their corporate sponsorship of the Carpet America Recover Effort (CARE). CARE is a non-profit organization whose mission is to find solutions for the reuse and recycling of post-consumer carpet. In cooperation with CARE, Carpet One Floor & Home presented an opportunity for all members to register to become supporting members of CARE and help in their efforts to divert carpet from landfills.
“Our partnership with CARE is just another way that we are helping our members to be more environmentally conscious,” said Demaree.
The closing event for the Carpet One members and invited guests was held at Sports Authority’s Mile High field, the home of the Denver Broncos.
