Carter Volkswagen has responded to the current situation by changing the hours for their service and sales departments. The sales department and vehicle showroom are temporarily closed through weekdays and weekends. The service department is closed on weekends but open from Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 5 pm.
Service customers are encouraged to call the service department at 855-587-0729 if they need any repairs or maintenance on their vehicles. The service department will no longer accept walk-in customers and requests that anyone seeking vehicle service either call to set up an appointment or use their website to schedule service online.
New and Pre-Owned Vehicles can still be sold to customers with certain needs and in certain situations until dealership operations return to normal. Temporarily, vehicle sales and leasing are available only to essential employees. Shoppers who are unsure if they qualify as essential employees should consult online resources linked here. We may also be able to sell vehicles for other situations like:
- Replacing a totaled vehicle
- Extending an expired lease
- Replacing a damaged vehicle where repairs are impossible or where parts are too difficult to procure
Carter Volkswagen is also offering service concierge for the time being in order to accommodate social distancing and self-imposed isolation during the current situation. Service concierge comes complimentary for those who schedule service can elect to have their vehicle picked up and dropped back off at their home. This service includes sanitization of the vehicle before and after service for the safety of both customers and service technicians.
